The Forum was attended by members of the Parliament of Ukraine, representatives of the Securities and Stock Market State Commission, judges, partners in top national and international law firms, and scientists. The participants discussed aspects and prospects of development and improvement of the Law of Ukraine on Joint Stock Corporations, central issues of the reorganisation of joint stock corporations and ways for dealing with them, prospects of the bill on companies with limited liability, topical issues of corporate governance, and court decisions.
The Annual Corporate Law Forum is a large and influential gathering that gives practising lawyers, scientists, businessman, representatives of the executive, judiciary and legislature the opportunity to discuss matters of corporate law, ways for corporate disputes resolution, and to suggest changes and amendments they deem necessary to be made to the corporate law of Ukraine. Representatives of the executive, legislature and judiciary as well as leading practitioners and scientist are welcome to attend.
