Salkom won the land dispute in the Supreme Court

The Supreme Court issued a decision on 27 September 2023 in favour of the defendant and recognized the orders as illegal. The court also ordered that the orders be cancelled, and the disputable land plots returned to the defendant. The Supreme Court ruled to dismiss the cassation appeal filed by the Deputy Head of the Kyiv Regional Prosecutor's Office (Claimant) and upheld the decision made by the Kyiv Court of Appeal on 17 June 2021.

The defendant was represented by a team of lawyers from the Salkom Law Firm led by the Firm's partner, ValeriiLukomskyi, in the litigation that continued for four years in courts of various instances. The Supreme Court concurred with the defendant's position and arguments, and rendered its decision based on the case law of the European Court of Human Rights.
